As a Land Referencing Manager at HS2, you will support both the preparation and passage of the Hybrid Bill process; and be able to support the exercising of powers of entry and compulsory purchase post-Royal Assent.
 
About the role:
  • Coordinate contractors in delivering the referencing components of the Hybrid Bill in accordance with the HB programme and Parliamentary Standing Orders
  • Undertake the assurance role in reviewing and assuring the contractor deliverables
  • Act as the interfaces between the Engineering, Environmental and Land Referencing disciplines to ensure processes are adhered to, and to ensure accuracy and consistency of scheme limits and land parcels
  • Assure quality of electronic referencing data prior to its deployment through the Land Referencing Database
  • Post-Royal Assent, maintain the referencing database of owners and occupiers
  • Post-Royal Assent, maintain the referencing activities to ensure all qualifying interests are referenced prior to service of compulsory purchase notices
  • Respond to enquiries from within HS2 and from external stakeholders on access and land ownership matters in a timely manner

About You:
  • A relevant degree or HNC
  • A professional membership (e.g. CPA, APM, etc)
  • Relevant experience in land referencing and compulsory purchase including ,Hybrid Bills
  • Experience in contract and project management
  • Ability to deal with stakeholders and members of the public in a range of circumstances
  • It is expected that you will actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI
