Job Title: Independent Land Advisor (ILA) Coordinator

Background LCR is looking to recruit a graduate to its central London office to provide comprehensive support to our Independent Land Adviser (ILA) Team.   
The ILA is a team within LCR acting as an advisor to the Department for Transport (DfT) to provide assurance that the Secretary of State’s compulsory purchase powers are being used appropriately in relation to the land assembly for the High Speed (HS2) railway.
The Role The ILA Co-ordinator will provide support to the ILA team in assuring that land assembly is carried out in accordance with the relevant processes and procedures.  
Key tasks include - carrying out reviews and peer reviews of HS2 work packages as part of the assurance process - attending internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes -logging and tracking the assurance of work packages as they are received by the ILA - contributing to the continual improvement of the ILA team’s processes, procedures and documentation - assisting with maintaining the ILA Quality Systems.
The role will appeal to applicants with an interest in or an understanding of compulsory purchase land acquisition processes.  The role will also include providing support to the CAD Manager and the Mapping Manager in maintaining the job schedule, the production of plans and maintenance of relevant land ownership data for the wider LCR organisation.  A working knowledge of CAD and mapping systems is desirable.
This is a broad role which will allow the successful applicant to build on their administrative and IT skills and develop new skills.  You will need to be logical and methodical,  with attention to detail.  Strong organisation skills and an ability to manage your own workload are a must.
