Tony Johnson Memorial Lecture 2016

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting for the Association will be held on Monday 10th October 2016 for the purposes of transacting the following Association business:

  • Receiving report by the outgoing Chairman
  • Receiving report and accounts by the Hon. Treasurer
  • Election of Committee
  • A vote to incorporate the CPA as a Company Limited by Guarantee. Click here for more details.
In the 2015 AGM, the membership mandated the committee to bring forward details for the incorporation of the CPA as a company limited by guarantee. 
    • Vote 1 - Approve the Articles of Association.  Draft articles can be found here.  The existing Constitution can be found here.  Click here for FAQ's. 
    • Vote 2 - Mandate the committee to create the new entity and to transfer the assets and liabilities to the Company in consideration of which the Association will require the Company to give to the Association an indemnity for all and any costs claims and liabilities which may be incurred by the Company or the Association after the date of the transfer to the new entity. 
  • Any other business including any business under paragraph 5.1 of the Constitution. 
  • Receiving address of incoming Chairman

Tony was instrumental in the creation of the CPA, a surveyor passionate about compulsory purchase and education. This lecture is in his memory.
