July 2016 Newsletter

As the Summer approaches and we continue to work out the implications of a tumultuous political climate, I am sending to you a few updates relevant for CPA members:

National Conference 2016

The Annual Conference, attracted over 200 delegates. My thanks to all the speakers who made the day such a success, to CBRE and Carter Jonas for their sponsorship and thank you to all who attended.

The clear message from the event was of change. The status quo is no longer acceptable, and government and the judiciary are seeking a step change. It is all about cost and efficiencies and focusing on timely delivered future projects. We have to be open to and be prepared for change, but it is change we can influence and shape.

Nominations and possible Elections

It is that time of year where the CPA invites nominations for the National committee; Chair, Vice Chair and 6 elected members.
Nomination forms and details can be found here. If you wish to stand, completed forms must be received no later than 1st August 2016. Please contact me or Jade at the office if you require any further information.
