More than 4 million passenger journeys are undertaken on TfL’s network every day. Our current investment programme covers projects dealing with the maintenance and improvement of existing infrastructure as well as the implementation of exciting new transport schemes including Crossrail 2.

We are now looking to recruit surveyors to our Operational Property Division which provides a property consultancy service to TfL and its subsidiaries. The work is wide ranging and includes valuations, negotiations, landlord and tenant, compulsory purchase and town planning. The Division’s activities are required in all aspects of TfL projects from conception and feasibility through to the negotiation of agreements with third parties and implementation.
You could be working on major new infrastructure schemes such as Crossrail 2, London Underground Station upgrades, strategic road improvements through to smaller scale projects on existing infrastructure.

Main duties: 
You will be expected to manage your own workload, be proactive and deliver sound professional advice on the property implications of operational projects. You will have experience in successful property negotiations and will be able to deliver requirements on time and within budget. You should communicate effectively and be administratively self-sufficient.

You will need: 
For senior surveyor roles RICS qualification is required.
To join as a surveyor you will need a degree accredited by the RICS for specialism in Commercial Property or Valuation.
Administratively self-sufficient including a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
