Panel Discussion on Recent Developments and Issues in Compulsory Purchase Practice
We are delighted to offer the second in our planned regional events.
The event will take the form of a live panel discussion, with networking pre and post event. Instead of participating on screen and having your contributions read out by the chair, you will be closer to the action and have the chance to ask follow up questions.
The panel discussion, titled 'Cancelled Projects and Consequences', will explore and reference real examples such as the National Highways schemes cancelled at Stonehenge and the Arundel Bypass and Phase 2 of HS2 and include topics such as:
- Rule 2 valuations and the Crichel Down principles
- Severance and injurious affection
- Other difficulties and practical issues arising from the cancellation
Speakers:
Simon Bachelor, Lambert Smith Hampton
Katie Matthews-Male, Lambert Smith Hampton
John Sayer, Ardent; Vice Chair of The CPA
